Deer Park Fire Department

Deer Park Area Fire Dept is a department with appox. 25 members that are all trained through varying levels from Entry level Firefighter, State FireFighter I, S...tate FireFighter II, Fire inspector. etc. With refresher courses in Haz-Mat, CPR, and others taken throughout the year.

Currently there are 6 trucks in service with a pumper, pumper/personnel carrier, 2 tankers, 2 brush trucks. Looking to be getting a Polaris Ranger UTV soon.

The Deer Park Fire department is a volunteer dept to anyone willing to be Wisconsin state certified and give their time to help protect the village or Deer Park and the surrounding townships.

Monthly meetings and training are held on the 3rd and 4th Mondays of the month, current fire issues are talked about and accident/fire calls are discussed. Training involve anything from simple air pack training, to pumper operation, jaws of life training, to fire scenarios and live burns.

The types of calls range from car accidents, grass fires, to house fires and everything else that is needed. Mutual aide is serviced to the surrounding departments of Amery, Clear Lake, United Fire, New Richmond Fire, and have traveled farther when needed.

DPFD is also involved with the MABAS program through Division 143 in St Croix County Wisconsin.
